Hors Circuit was born from a deep attachment to the margins of Morocco — the southern tracks, the Atlas valleys, and Saharan bivouacs, far from beaten paths. A simple desire: to introduce a country differently, through genuine encounters.

The adventure began in 2004, when Luc decided to leave everything behind and settle in Taroudant, in southwestern Maroc. The agency opened its doors the following year, in 2005. Over the years, the team patiently built its universe: a traditional guesthouse in 2007, a range of treks off the beaten path in 2009, then a Saharan camp in 2011. Today, Hors Circuit shines from Taroudant, Marrakech and Rabat, and designs tailor-made trips for every type of traveler — from high-altitude trekking to 4x4 expeditions, from desert bivouacs to family stays.

The agency is led by Luc and Hafida, a Franco-Moroccan couple at the origin of the project. Alongside them, Hamid, a mountain guide, accompanies travelers on the trails of the Atlas, while Kamal, a driver and cook, shares his expertise daily on the tracks. The agency is an active member of the Respire collective, tomorrow's tourism, and is committed to several local solidarity initiatives.
