The spirit of travel
To make the most of our vacation in Maroc, Dar Maktoub, a villa in Inezgane near Agadir, and the Terrasses de l'Atlas, a guesthouse near Taroudant, offer us warm hospitality, an idyllic setting and delicious Franco-Moroccan cuisine.
With the team of travel experts at Maroc Hors Circuit, we can fully adapt the program to our expectations and our stay plans.
Whether we are as a couple, as a family or with friends, we can follow the proposed itinerary all together or allow each person to enjoy either golf or trekking only. Moreover, the package can be extended according to the length of our stay and can be adapted in every way.
The only goal is ultimately to get away completely.
We must not forget the additional services available at each establishment: argan oil massage, culinary initiation, traditional wood-fired hammam…
The stages of your journey
Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Under the Sun of Agadir
We take a taxi from Agadir airport to reach the nearby town of Inezgane, in the Souss valley, famous for its golf courses.
Once there, we are welcomed at the Villa Dar Maktoub, where we will be treated to the impeccable service of the staff.
Depending on our arrival schedule, we can already enjoy the pool or the Villa's bar. Expert masseurs are also waiting for us at Dar Maktoub.
We spend the night, on half board and in a double room, in this hotel offering an enchanting setting.

Golf of the Sun and Ocean
We have a day dedicated to golf, with packed lunch. Three golf courses surround the Dar Maktoub villa: Golf les Dunes, Golf du Soleil and Golf de l'Océan.
We spend the night, on half-board and in a double room, in this hotel with a lush garden.

Day at the Golf Course
Throughout the day, we enjoy, at our own pace, the golf course recommended by the hotel.
At night, accommodation in a double room and half-board, still at Dar Maktoub.

Third day of golf
New golf course at your own pace, with transfers organized by the Villa.
In late afternoon, we take a taxi to Afensou, a Berber village located 35 kilometers north of Taroudant. The journey from Agadir to Anfensou generally takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Upon arrival, Luc and Hafida welcome us at the guesthouse Les Terrasses de l'Atlas where we spend one night on a half-board basis.

Immersion in Berber Country
Our Morocco travel experts propose a tailor-made day of activities, fully customized, departing from their guesthouse, Les Terrasses de l'Atlas. For sports enthusiasts, two half-day hikes or even a full day of trekking. However, there is a gentler program for others (consult their website www.terrasses-atlas.com).
Full board at Les Terrasses de l'Atlas, also including a musical session by some neighbors playing tambourines.

Panoramic Ridge Hikes
We set off early in the morning for a challenging hike towards peaks revealing a panoramic view of the surrounding area and across the entire western High Atlas.
Upon reaching a ridgeline that reaches nearly 1500 meters in elevation, we will enjoy a clear space under the argan trees to rest and have a picnic.
In the afternoon, donkeys set off to transport our luggage to the planned camping location.
We then gather on a scenic hill to set up our wild camp before enjoying a barbecue under the argan tree and a campfire under the stars.
We will sleep under canvas tents or for the more adventurous under the open sky.

High valleys of almond and walnut trees
Before joining a Berber village, hikers continue their path while enjoying the picturesque landscapes of the area.
Once there, we have lunch at the Terrasses de l'Atlas inn.
Afternoon at your choice: either a 4x4 excursion towards a high valley to climb partly on foot (or not!), or simply a traditional hammam with wood fire.
Tasting dinner at our guesthouse, Terrasses de l'Atlas.

What I love about travel is that moment when you leave the obvious path. That's when the landscape shifts, but more importantly, so does your perspective.
